I'm finally all settled in here in Jeffrey's bay.  I have my schedule all figured out and ministry has been absolutely amazing.  On Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings we have discipleship as a team.  We read through different books together and study the Bible.  Then on Thursday mornings we have family ministry. That's when we go into the community and do something as a team to help out in whatever way people need us.  Friday is our day off so we can go to the beach or sleep in and watch movies or go to a café; basically it's our day to relax.  Saturday afternoons are for intentional ministry. That's when we intentionally go and eat at a certain restaurant and go and hang out with people to talk to them and build relationships with them.  This Saturday I'm going to a crèche (that's like a day care for babies), and myself and a few others are helping clean the small room that all the babies and toddlers are in every day.  On Sunday mornings we go to church, I decided to go to a big, mostly all white, English speaking church called Victory.  I love it because it really reminds me of home and I feel like I can really be filled spiritually there.  Then, on Sunday nights the whole team goes to a church service that's called the Nations Celebration at Deo Doxa church just up the street from our house.  It's mostly all younger people. We have amazing praise and worship and have a good time jumping and dancing around.  Monday through Thursday afternoons we go to internships. I go to a place called Ithemba Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons.  Ithemba is a church that has an after school program for children.  They feed the kids and help keep them off the streets. My favorite days are when we end up outside playing games, or when I have two or three kids in my lap or playing with my hair.  I've already been so blessed by everyone there and I know I'm going to have a really hard time leaving in May. On Monday afternoons I go on house visits. My self and two other girls go into the townships and visit families.  We are still in the process of really finding a family or two that we can really pour into spiritually.  I know that through time though God will show us who he wants us to be with.  That's pretty much my weekly schedule minus a few random events that aren't very important, but I just thought it would be insightful for you to know a little about my schedule.
